Let's all throw shoes!
So, did Bush really deserve to get SHOES thrown at him in Iraq?? You don't have to like him, most Americans don't. Heck, you don't even have to respect his politics...but throw SHOES at him? That's just ridiculous. And pathetic. And it's even more pathetic that people think it was awesome. C'mone peopl! Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. What do YOU think?

Well, to be fair, the shoe-throwing is a cultural thing. It makes more sense over there than it does here. Still really lame though.
I just felt awkward when I saw the video. Awkward for everyone, the president, the shoe thrower, the other journalists, the security guards. Because if you think about it, the whole idea of throwing shoes is just silly.
P.S. In the U.S. maternity leave is determined by state, I think the only federal regulation is at least 6 weeks at 60% pay. California is one of the better states cause they will pay you for another 6 weeks after that.
